Celebrate with us next weekend!
We can’t wait for the celebration that comes with our Faith Milestones during worship services on October 28+29. We have baptisms and dedications that weekend, and our whole church family celebrates what God is doing in those who are taking these steps. We know this is a celebration you want your children to be a part of, so elementary-aged kids will worship with their families that weekend. Join us for the congregational meeting and fellowship
Sunday, November 5 at 4 pm is our annual congregational meeting. This includes worship, a short business meeting and vision from Pastor Henry and our leadership team, plus tacos for supper afterward. We’ll vote on elder and governing board candidates too. (Five Oaks members may vote, but all members and regular attenders are invited to attend and participate in discussion.) You and your family can help change lives of children across the world by traveling as far as Eagan. Join the Five Oaks community as we pack meals together at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan. Camp Getaway: Register now!
High schoolers often run a very busy schedule, so a weekend away with friends for games, worship, learning about their place in the Story of God, and meeting new friends is super important. Registration is now open for our annual fall campout. We’re going back to Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch this year, November 3-5. More details and registration here. Questions? Ladies, do you love brunch?
Join other ladies at the November TABLE on Wednesday, November 1, 9:30 am at Five Oaks Church. This is a potluck-style meal with fellowship and a time of guided conversation. Next up in Drive Season: Provide a UGM Thanksgiving Bag to those in need
We’re looking forward to partnering again this year with Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities to provide Thanksgiving meals to those who cannot afford to purchase the staples for a holiday meal. Shopping lists are available to pick up in the commons at the chalkboard! Please return filled bags to church by November 12. Serve a meal at Dorothy Day
If you’d like to make a difference to our neighbors in St. Paul, join us to prepare and serve a meal at the Dorothy Day Center on November 4, 9:30 am-1:15 pm. Interested?
